Melanie & Tyson: Red Lodge, Montana Wedding

This wedding. I’m not even sure how to tell you how breathtakingly beautiful it was! Everything from the personalized DIY details to the dresses, oh the dresses! It was an honor to travel to Montana to document Melanie & Tyson’s wedding day. Melanie is a talented photographer so when she asked me to photograph her day I was humbled and excited as I knew she would plan one heck of a wedding. She did just that!  These two are head over heels in love. Their love is effortless and passionate. They love hard, work hard & as I saw at their reception, play hard. Which in my opinion is the only way to live!

M & T~ What a privilege it was to be a part of your day. You two have so much awaiting you as a married couple, I can’t wait to see your adventure unfold! Cheers to my favorite “Cowboy & Indian” as you say, Mel! 😉

Lauren & Trae’s Wedding: Carmel, CA

The day could not have been more incredible. Nestled alongside a beautiful cove off the coast of California, Lauren and Trae committed their lives to each other in an intimate ceremony. Their ceremony will go down as a favorite. It was personal, God honoring, and so very special. Everything about Lauren and Trae’s wedding was perfect! The love they have for one another shines through them and when they saw each other for the first time at their ceremony time stopped. It was incredible to witness this sweet couple say “I do” and dance the night away!

L & T~ Thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day. I have no doubt that with all the support you have from your incredible families & your faith in God you will move mountains together. XO

They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony but they shared this precious moment praying together.

Kelsy & Mike: Napoleon, ND Engagement Session

When Kelsy asked me to travel to Napoleon, ND I wasn’t sure what to expect from this small town of about 800. Kelsy had her heart set on taking their engagement pictures on their family’s land. Once I arrived I could see why! The beautiful scenery, old barn, and the house her grandfather grew up in made for an incredible engagement session. Kelsy & Mike are such a sweet couple! They love to hunt, fish, and be adventurous together. That pretty much makes Kelsy the total package! She’s gorgeous, smart, and can hold her own with a rifle and rod…I can see why you locked it up, Mike! 😉

M & K~ I am so excited to be a part of your wedding this fall! Thank you for inviting me to your cute town and showing me around the land that means so much to you both. You two are totally worth the THREE TICKS I found on me after your shoot! Haha!

Baby Luke

Hands down my favorite part of being a wedding photographer is watching my couples experience some of the most incredible blessings life has to offer. Since the only time I take newborn/family pictures is for my past couples it is such a unique experience documenting such special moments for couples I have grown to know. You can view My & Sebastian’s wedding here. When a couple hires me as their wedding photographer they are allowing me to see an intimate aspect of their relationship.  The same goes for when they welcome me into their home to take their baby’s first professional portraits. It is always a blessing & an amazing experience.

M & S~ I couldn’t be happier for you! Luke is a bundle of perfection. That hair. Those lips. I fell in love. Thank you for sharing him with me for the morning!

Mallory & Patrick: Bismarck, ND Engagement Session

It’s hard to believe that the beautiful woman you see in these images was once the sweet little girl who lived across the street from my childhood home. Our mothers are close friends whom met in college so we would see one another often growing up. It fills my heart with great joy to see that Mallory has chosen an incredible man to spend her life with. Patrick is a talented hockey player and over the years their relationship has been mostly long distance. Their engagement session was an absolute blast! I was informed that they aren’t into the whole “PDA thing” but if you ask me they look pretty comfortable getting cozy in these pics! 😉

M & P~ I am already looking forward to your wedding next summer! Thanks for all the laughs at your session. XO
